Course description

This course is designed to train healthcare professionals in performing and interpreting point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) in the first trimester (typically up to 12–13+6 weeks of gestation). It provides the knowledge, skills, and assessment required to safely and effectively integrate first-trimester POCUS into clinical practice, particularly for early pregnancy evaluation, viability assessments, and identification of early pregnancy complications. 

What will i learn?

  • Upon completion of this course, participants will be proficient in performing the following firsttrimester point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) examinations:
  • Confirmation of intrauterine pregnancy using 3:2:1 Criteria
  • Dating of pregnancy using crown-rump length
  • Assessment of fetal viability

Requirements

  • Healthcare Professional who completed the POCUS Fundamentals
  • Basic Ultrasound certificate or equivalent
  • Active clinical practice in Obstetrics, Emergency Medicine, and Family Medicine
  • Medical Professional (Physician, Advanced Practice, Sonographer)
